Alpha Black Zero is a game developed under the Serious Engine by developer Khaeon. It went gold in October 2003, and should be shipping sometime in the near future.
This demo features Parts 1-3 of the Dark Citadel map, a map set about half-way through the full game which features a large outdoor landscape with a spherical building in the middle that needs to be infiltrated. Between parts one and two, there is a short cutscene explaining some of the storyline. Before being inserted into the mission, the game briefs you on your objectives and you are given a selection of three different weapons loadouts for your squad: stealth, standard, and heavy. These different loadouts allow you to play the game as you please, whether you choose to play it as a full-blown action game, a tactical shooter, or a stealth game.
Featuring some truly impressive squad AI as well as enemy AI, be sure to check out this demo while waiting for the full game.
